Members of Company Board request Leaves of Absence

On 23 December 2013, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that on 19 December 2013 the Company had received notices from each of the following members of the Board of Directors: Messrs. José Antonio Aranda, Alejandro Alberto Urricelqui, Pablo César Casey and Luis María Blaquier, whereby each of them requested leaves of absence from their positions as members of the Board, for personal reasons, according to the following detail: (i) Mr. José Antonio Aranda requested a leave of absence from 23 December 2013 up to and including 31 January 2014, automatically reassuming his position on 1 February 2014; (ii) Mr. Alejandro Alberto Urricelqui requested a leave of absence from 24 December 2013 up to and including 19 January 2014, automatically reassuming his position on 20 January 2014; (iii) Mr. Pablo César Casey requested a leave of absence from 27 December 2013 up to and including 12 January 2014, automatically reassuming his position on 13 January 2014; and Mr. Luis María Blaquier requested a leave of absence from 16 January 2014 up to and including 2 February 2014, automatically reassuming his position on 3 February 2014.

All of the Directors referred to above shall be replaced by alternate members of the Board pursuant to Section 258 of the Argentine Business Associations Law, the Bylaws of the Company and the decision adopted at the General Annual Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting held on 25 April 2013, and according to the following detail: (a) Mr. José Antonio Aranda will be replaced by Mr. Héctor Mario Aranda; (b) Mr. Alejandro Alberto Urricelqui shall be replaced by Mr. Saturnino Lorenzo Herrero Mitjans; (c) Mr. Pablo César Casey shall be replaced by Mr. Ignacio Rolando Driollet; and (d) Mr. Luis María Blaquier shall be replaced by Mr. Sebastián Bardengo.
