Meggitt Airdynamics, a Meggitt group company, announced today thatit has received an add-on contract from General Dynamics to providecooling fans for the U.S. Marine Corps' light-armored vehicle that isproduced by General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada. £ Lloyd Oshiro, general manager of Meggitt Airdynamics, said, "Ourunique fan system provides essential thermal management cooling forthe LAV's engine, including the radiator, gear box, oil and avionics.It is an extremely reliable hydraulically driven fan that has beenutilized for several years in previous similar vehicles." £ Meggitt Airdynamics designs and manufactures custom fluid productsfor extreme environments in a multitude of aerospace and militaryplatforms.
