Martial Law in Ukraine

The Board of JKX notes that on 26 November 2018, the Parliament of Ukraine approved and enacted President's Decree No. 390/2018 "On Extraordinary Measures for Ensuring the State Sovereignty and Independence of Ukraine and Introduction of Martial Law".

The Decree introduced Martial Law in 10 regions of Ukraine bordering with Russia or seas for a period of 30 calendar days and came into force at 09:00 local time (07:00 GMT) on 28 November and ends on 27 December 2018.

The imposition of Martial Law does not affect the region in which PPC, the wholly owned subsidiary of JKX operates. Its business in the Ukraine remains unaffected.

The Board will continue to monitor the situation closely.
