Norcon plc (LSE/AIM: NCON), the global communications network specialist, is pleased to announce that Steve Preston, the current COO of Norconsult Telematics, Ltd., the wholly owned operational subsidiary of Norcon plc, is being promoted to CEO of Norconsult Telematics, Ltd, effective July 1st 2012.

 

The current CEO of Norconsult Telematics Ltd, Aage Aasmundsen, is leaving the company to pursue other prospects. Aage has been with the Company since 1996.

 

Steve joined Norconsult Telematics, Ltd in November 2011 as COO and has been working actively to develop the new service expansion lines in order to support the Company's growth plans and strategic aims. There has already been year to date progress on this with new contracts in new territories, as well as expansion recently into the optimisation and performance management space.
