Maritime Divisional Organisation Update

Further to its announcement of January 6th 2014, Nature Group PLC (AIM:NGR), the provider of port reception facilities and waste treatment solutions for the oil, marine and process industries, is pleased to announce the new organisational structure of its Maritime Division..

We are especially pleased to welcome René van der Wolf as the new head of the Maritime Division. René is a specialist in the transport of noxious cargoes and holds a bachelor in Business Management. For the past 32 years he has worked in different roles for the Port of Rotterdam Authority. Most recently, he was the Director Vessel Traffic Management & Operations, leading a team of 400 people and is well acquainted with Nature Group's operations in Rotterdam. He has held several board positions and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Group.

Carlos Cardoso will assume responsibility for the overall commercial activities of the division. For the past two years he has led Nature Portugal and will continue to do so. Since his graduating in 1998 with a Chemical Engineering degree, Carlos has worked in several positions with companies within the waste management industry. His many years of experience, his knowledge and his multilingual abilities will facilitate the communication process with both existing and potential customers.

Our Managing Director in Gibraltar, Freddie Becerra, who has been instrumental in the successes of the local operation since our start in Gibraltar, turned 70 at the end of last year and is retiring from full time work. He is replaced by Matthew Byrne. Matthew studied Naval Architecture and for the past 11 years has worked for Lloyd´s Register in Europe and ASIA. He spent two years at the Gibraltar Maritime Administration as a Flag Surveyor. His maritime network connections, both commercially and with government, will help NPRF Gibraltar in its future expansion. We are pleased that Freddie will remain as an advisor to NPRF Gibraltar.

Andreas Drenthen, CEO, comments: "We are excited to welcome Rene and Matthew on board and pleased that Carlos has expanded his responsibilities within the Group. We look forward to using the experience and connections of these key individuals to move our maritime business forward. The new structure will help to ensure that we have the depth of management resource to fulfil Nature´s further maritime global expansion".
