Gulf Keystone is pleased to announce that Dr. Jon Cooper will be appointed asFinance Director of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited from 6th April 2006. Priorto joining Gulf Keystone, Jon spent 9 years at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein,where he worked as a Director in the Oil & Gas Corporate Finance Team mostrecently covering Russia and Central & Eastern Europe. Jon qualified as aChartered Accountant with KPMG in 1996 and has a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineeringand PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Gulf Keystone is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Iain Patrickas Director of Commercial & Legal Affairs of Gulf Keystone Petroleum (UK)Limited. Iain has 25 years experience in the international oil and gasindustry. After graduating with an Ll.M in 1980, Iain worked as an oil industrylawyer before joining Monument Oil and Gas plc in 1988 where he held theposition of Commercial Director until the sale of the company in 1999. Iainthen co-founded PWX Limited, a consultancy providing business developmentsupport to a number of oil and gas companies. Mr Roger Parsons, Chairman of the Company commented: "We would like to thank Caroline Brown for her contribution to the Company inits early life as a public listed company and wish her well in the future."
