MAJOR PROSPECTS FOR @AUSTRALIA IDENTIFIED AT FUTUREGOV
@UK PLC (AIM:ATUK.L), the cloud eCommerce marketplace, has identified a number of highly promising business opportunities for its subsidiary, @Australia, in the Asia-Pacific region at the Futuregov Summit in Chiang Mai in Thailand.
The @UK team met with senior procurement officials in a series of workshops, round-table discussions, one-on-one meetings, and presentations. Their enthusiastic response has enabled @UK to move negotiations forward with a number of organisations, while also identifying and making contact with new prospects.
In its ninth year, Futuregov brings together officials from central government, city administration, universities and hospital management with the public sector to discuss topics, including cloud computing and managing data.
Lyn Duncan, co-founder of @UK, commented: "This has been an eye-opening trip for @UK. It has allowed us to come face-to-face with dozens of prospects across the Asia-Pacific region, and sense their excitement about the @Australia marketplace. We've created numerous new opportunities."
