Amino Technologies PLC28 November 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 28 November 2005 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC MAJOR LICENCE AGREEMENT SIGNED Amino Technologies plc ("Amino" or "the Company"; stock code: AMO), theCambridge based broadband network software and systems company, announces thatit has signed a major licence agreement with AS Intercom Ltd ("Intercom"), acompany incorporated in Cyprus but with principal operations within the RussianFederation. The licence agreement allows Intercom to manufacture and supply AmiNET MPEG2 andMPEG4 IPTV set top boxes within the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and theUkraine. A measure of the potential size of this market is the number oftelephone subscribers which exceeds 30 million. Intercom has agreed to pay a significant licence fee and royalties in respect ofAmino's IntAct(TM) IPTV software technologies and hardware designs. The licenceagreement is for a minimum of 5 years. Whilst the commercial terms areconfidential, the royalty rates for both software and hardware are in line withthe Company's expectations.
