Mailing of Notice of General Meeting

Utilitywise plc (AIM: UTW), a leading independent utility cost management consultancy, announces that a notice of a General Meeting of the Company, to be held on 16 May 2018, has been mailed to shareholders. It is also available to view on the Company's website at www.utilitywise.com/investor-relations/reports-and-publications/

The purpose of the General Meeting is to consider, pursuant to section 656 of the Companies Act 2006, whether any, and if so what, steps should be taken to address the fact that the net assets of the Company have fallen to half or less of its called-up share capital.

The General Meeting will be held at finnCap, 60 New Broad Street, London EC2M 1JJ on 16 May 2018 at 10.30am.

The Group is currently undergoing a competitive tender process to select new external auditors. As soon as is practicable after the completion of that process, a further general meeting will be called for the purposes of seeking shareholder approval of the Group's Annual Report for the year ended 31 July 2017 and of the appointment of the new auditor.
