Lonrho PLC18 September 2007 18 September 2007 Lonrho Plc ("Lonrho" or "the Company") Luba Freeport signs 5 year contract with Oil Industry Supplier Lonrho (AIM:LONR), the conglomerate with a diverse portfolio of Africaninvestments, is pleased to announce that a new 5 year contract has been signedbetween Luba Freeport Limited ("Luba Freeport") and MI Equatorial Guinea Inc(MI) effective from the 1st October 2007. Luba Freeport is owned 63% by Lonrho Plc and 37% by the Government of EquatorialGuinea. This contract provides for MI's usage of 2,450 square metres of warehousing andoffices, 900 square metres of bulk chemical storage area and 4,000 square metresof open storage area. MI is the sole supplier of brine, bentonite, base oil drilling mud and chemicalsto the oil industry majors in Equatorial Guinea.
