LSR Group to build a tram network in Saint Petersburg

LSR Group starts a new project for construction, upgrade and operation of tram lines in Krasnogvardeysky District of St. Petersburg. 

The corresponding concession agreement was signed between the Government of Saint Petersburg and LLC Transportnaya Kontsessionnaya Kompaniya (a joint venture of LSR Group and Leader Investment Company).

The total amount of investments into the project, including construction of a new tram network and its operation over the period of 30 years, stands at RUB 32.7 bn. In particular, RUB 12.7 bn is to be invested into construction and maintenance of the tram network.

The revenue will be generated from transportation services and governmental subsidies for transportation of welfare beneficiaries.

The construction of the tram network is to be completed in 4Q 2018.
