The following disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the London Stock Exchange Listing Rules:

On 2 July 2008, Mr Ian McHoul was appointed as AMEC plc Chief Financial Officer. Mr McHoul is a non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit Committee in Premier Foods plc. Mr McHoul has been a director in Scottish & Newcastle plc during the past five years.

There are no other matters which require to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules
