ISG AWARDED ADDITIONAL LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC OVERLAY WORKS
ISG has been successful in securing the remaining Construction Management contract for the Off-Park and Non-Competition Venues, including associated site works and infrastructure. This is in addition to having been awarded in July 2011 the On-Park construction works for the London 2012 Games by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
The contract comprises 24 Off-Park sporting venues, 12 of which are outside Greater London and will be delivered by ISG's regional teams. The package also includes all 61 supporting non-competition venues, including games training facilities, transport infrastructure and hubs, material screening facilities and both athlete and IOC/IPC accommodation.
A selection of the venues that come under ISG's remit include, Earls Court, ExCeL, Hadleigh Farm, Old Trafford, the Millennium Stadium, Hampden Park, City of Coventry Stadium, St James' Park, Wembley Stadium, Weymouth and Portland, Eton Dorney and Brands Hatch.
