Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier Award Win

Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent" or the "Company"), a leading developer and manufacturer of high end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, communications, transportation, aerospace and industrial markets, is pleased to announce it has been presented with a STAR Supplier Award from Lockheed Martin Corporation ("Lockheed Martin") for supplier performance excellence.

At a recent ceremony at Lockheed Martin's Eagan, Minnesota, USA facility, Concurrent was presented with a STAR Supplier Award by senior management of Lockheed Martin. Concurrent supplies high performance single board computers and this award recognises the Company as one of the top-performing suppliers to Lockheed Martin.

The prestigious award is made only to Lockheed Martin suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the aerospace industry. Concurrent met the rigorous established criteria for Lockheed Martin's Supplier Performance Evaluation metric that evaluates Quality, Delivery, Affordability and Management/Administration. First established in 1999, this award is an effort to quantitatively measure supplier quality and to create a group of preferred suppliers.

Lockheed Martin STAR Suppliers are provided visibility across Lockheed Martin Corporation. This results in increased opportunity for more business and consideration for reduction of Lockheed Martin oversight at the supplier level.
