The zero dividend preference shares of 0.01p each of the Company (the "ZDP Shares") currently appear in the "Premium Equity Closed Ended Investment Funds" listing category of the Official List. The ZDP Shares are not equities and the Company, a subsidiary of F&C Private Equity Trust plc, is not itself a closed-ended fund. Accordingly, the ZDP Shares will be transferred to the "Standard Shares" listing category of the Official List with effect from Wednesday, 1 February 2012.
