List of candidates for the Board of Directors

Bank Muscat SAOG is pleased to inform the market and valued shareholders of the list of candidates for the Bank's Board of Directors for a new three-year term (2025-2028) with an introduction to the candidates. Note that the election and appointment of members will be subject to the approval of the ordinary general meeting of shareholders and regulatory authorities.

1. Sheikh Khalid bin Mustahail bin Ahmed Al Mashani (Independent)

Sheikh Khalid Al Mashani has BSc. in Economics from the UK. A Master Degree in International Boundary Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, the University of London, UK. He is a Chairman of Dhofar International Development & Investment Holding Co. "SAOG" and a Director in Al Omaniya Financial Services "SAOG" and Dhofar Food & Investment Co. "SAOG".

2. Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamed bin Hilal Al Sadi (non-Independent)

Sheikh Ahmed Al Sadi has 36 years of professional experience. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Egypt and a Master of Business Administration degree from Liverpool University of London in the United Kingdom. Sheikh Ahmed is the RCA's Director General of Audit. He is a member of various investment funds' boards of directors

3. Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah bin Shaban Al Farsi (Independent)

Dr. Faisal Al Farsi is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Social Protection Fund. He is a Director of Ooredoo Oman Board, United GCC Fund and he has been a board member of several General Joint Stock Companies. Dr. Al Farsi holds a Master's Degree in International Business Law and a PhD in Business and Commercial law.

4. Sheikh Said bin Mohamed bin Ahmed Alharthy (non-Independent)

Sheikh Said Al Harthy has Master of Business Administration from Victoria University, Melbourne/Australia and Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Management), Minor in Computer Information System (CIS) from California State University Stanislaus, USA. He is a Director in Oman National Investments, Development Company (Tanmia), Gulf Chlorine "W.L.L" and Chairman of Oman Chlorine Co. "SAOC".

5. Sheikh Dr. Saud bin Mustahail bin Ahmed Al Mashani (Independent)

Sheikh Dr. Saud Al Mashani has a PhD Degree on Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University in 2024 and holds a Master Degree on International Diplomacy from University of East Anglia (UK) in (2015). He is a graduate in Business Management from the Staffordshire University (UK) in 2010. He is director in Dhofar Foods and Investment SAOG and Dhofar International Development & Investment "SAOG.

6. Mr. Khalid Nasser Al Shamsi

(Independent)

Mr. Khalid Al Shamsi has a BSc (Hons) in Accounting, and International Business and is an INSEAD certified Director in corporate governance (IDP-c). Mr. Khalid Al Shamsi's experience varies across public and private assets, real estate and alternative investments. He serves on the boards of several publicly listed and private companies.

7. Dr. Saif bin Salim bin Saif Al Harthi

(Independent)

Dr. Saif Al Harthi has a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development and its impact on intensive development in the Sultanate of Oman from Egypt as well as fellowships of the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) of Jordan and the National Defense College at Nasser Higher Military Academy in Egypt. He has a Bachelor degree in Military Science from State of Kansas, USA. He has also completed a number of accounting and finance courses including a Higher Diploma in Account Management from the University of Oxford (1995) UK. He is a Chairman of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Co. "SAOG". He has been a board member of several Joint Stock Companies.

8. Mr. Saud bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Shukaili (Independent)

Mr. Saud Al Shukaili has about 34 years of work experience, during which he held many important positions, most notably the Chairman of the Tax Authority during the period from 2019 until the beginning of 2024. Mr. Saud Al Shukaili holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in development management from the United States of America. He has served as a member of the boards of directors of a number of companies in the Sultanate of Oman and outside that operate in various sectors, including banking, investment, oil, electricity and others.

9. Mr. Sanjay Kawatra (Non-Independent)

Mr. Sanjay Kawatra has 25 years of solid experience in providing financial, strategic and growth leadership. He possesses deep sector knowledge of banking, insurance and leasing. He currently serves as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Ominvest Group and is responsible for managing Ominvest Group's investments. Previously, he was a partner in EY MENA. He is also a board member of several listed and regulated companies in the GCC.

Mr. Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

10. Mr. Nooh bin Abdul Hamid bin Issa Al Zadjali (Independent)

Mr. Nooh Al Zadjali currently serves as Assistant General Manager - Head of Human Resources, Administration, and Technology at Al Madina Takaful SAOG. Mr. Nooh Al Zadjali holds Master degree in Human Resource Management- Specialized Talent Management and Development from University of Lincoln, United Kingdom and Bachelor's degree in human resource management, from Higher College of Technology. He is a Professional CIPD Associate, has High Field Level 3, Certification - Certified Trainer, Certified LEAN Black Belt and graduate of Royal Academy of Management National Leadership Program "Etimad".
