Licensing Deal with Walt Disney Television International
DQE, the AIM listed Animation, Gaming and Entertainment Company is pleased to announce an exclusive licensing deal with Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) for a CGI-animated series "Twisted Whiskers". The series will be broadcast on the Disney Channel, in 12 markets across Southeast Asia, in the coming months.
As announced on 9 December 2008, DQE has already signed a licensing deal with Walt Disney International India for "Twisted Whiskers" as well as two other animated series, "Ratman" and "Sandra".
Commenting on the deal, Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman and CEO said:
"This deal demonstrates the strength of DQE's sustained relationship with Walt Disney Television International. We are delighted to be working once again with Walt Disney International, a strategic partnership that allows our productions to reach a global audience."
