Imagination Technologies Group PLC27 April 2006 Imagination Technologies Group plc Licensing agreement Imagination Technologies Licenses PowerVR SGX to NEC Electronics Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE: IMG; "Imagination") - a leader inSystem-on-Chip Intellectual Property (" SoC IP") - reports that NEC ElectronicsCorporation (TSE: 6723), a world-leading semiconductor company, has licensed oneof Imagination's PowerVR SGX graphics / video core family members under amultiple-use license arrangement. NEC Electronics will incorporate PowerVR SGX's scalable and fully programmableshader graphics / video core in its System-on-Chip devices. Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license feesand royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP shipped by partners. This license agreement was concluded in March 2006. About PowerVR SGX PowerVR SGX, the new generation PowerVR shader based graphics and videotechnology family, is part of the Imagination's PowerVR Series5 scalable andfully programmable shader graphics and video core family.
