Amino Technologies PLC19 January 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 19 January 2007 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC LICENCE AGREEMENT AND ENTRY TO INDIAN MARKET Amino Technologies plc ("Amino"; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadbandnetwork software and systems company, has signed an agreement with DimensionsBroadband UK Ltd. ("Dimensions Broadband"), on behalf of its sister company TimeBroadband Services Pvt. Ltd. ("Time Broadband"), which takes Amino into theIndian subcontinent and provides access to Indian tier 1 telcos. Amino has been paid for a significant licensing contract and for an initialsupply of AmiNet125 set top boxes ("STBs"). Dimensions Broadband plans toestablish local manufacturing of STBs for Time Broadband Services, an IPTVservice provider headquartered in Mumbai. The agreement provides for the licensing of the AmiNet125 STB design and Amino'sIntAct(TM) IPTV software stack for the manufacture and sale of STBs in the Indian sub-continent and Middle-Eastern markets. Amino will receive royalties onlocally manufactured STBs and software in addition to the initial licence fee. Time Broadband plans to offer its advanced IPTV services to customers across theIndian subcontinent, the Middle East and parts of East Africa. Sujata Dev, Managing Director of Time Broadband commented: "In launchinglandmark deployments with telecom operators with a very large combined consumerbase, the objective is to maximise IPTV penetration in consumer homes.
