Disclosure under Rule 2.10(c) of The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers
J O Hambro Capital Management Limited ("JOHCM") provided a non-binding letter of intent to The Wellcome Trust Limited for 2,666,539 ordinary shares of Urban and Civic Plc.
JOHCM at the same time provided an irrevocable undertaking to The Wellcome Trust Limited in respect of an additional 6,933,001 shares in Urban and Civic Plc.
In accordance with Rule 2.10(c) of The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers JOHCM now announces that following a disposal it no longer intends to comply with the letter of intent in respect of 1,184,307 ordinary shares of Urban & Civic Plc. The non-binding letter of intent still applies to 1,482,232 ordinary shares of Urban & Civic Plc.
