Aggreko PLC22 March 2005 Letter of Award in Uganda Aggreko plc is aware of recent articles in the African press concerning acontract to provide temporary power in Uganda. Aggreko can confirm that we havereceived a letter of award from the Government of Uganda for a 3-year contractto build and operate a 50MW power facility, which includes the provision offuel. Having received the letter of award, we are currently in negotiation withthe customer on the terms of the definitive contract. If such an agreement isreached, we will release further details. The award of this contract would be consistent with the statement at ourPreliminary Results that the pipeline of enquiries for our International PowerProjects business was strong.
