Purchase of Shares for the Legal & General Employees' Share Ownership Trust
Legal & General Group Plc announces that on 22 April 2010, the trustees of the Legal & General Employees' Share Ownership Trust (ESOT) have purchased 500,000 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each. The price paid was £0.89p per share.
These shares were acquired to satisfy needs arising under existing employee share schemes in which employees and executive directors participate.
