blur launches version 4.0 of its Global Services Exchange
blur Group Plc (BLUR), the technology company that's reinventing commerce[1] at blurgroup.com, announced today's launch of the latest version of its Global Services Exchange, delivering on blur's 2014 goal to attract more enterprise-class customers. The component-based platform architecture has a new look and feel with truly responsive, hybrid adaptive design and customer focused, jargon-free language that simply explains services-commerce with clear calls to action for both buyers and sellers of business services.
blur 4.0 is built for customers using mobile and tablet devices. The platform's framework enhances customer experience with a unified browsing experience on any device (iOS, Android and Windows Phone) and at any screen size or resolution for desktop users. Already over 10% of all projects submitted to the Global Services Exchange each month are via smartphones.
"blur 4.0 is brought to you by the letter C - clarity of content, customer calls-to-action and increased conversions" said Jon Hogg, Chief Platform Officer at blur Group. "We've been listening to and implementing user feedback since the preview site for blur 4.0 went live in February 2014. The result is an accessible platform where both buyers and sellers can submit and deliver large, sophisticated projects really easily. In short, 4.0 provides a scalable solution for the enterprise customer."
Central to blur's vision is transparency and ease of use. Customers can now see the breadth of projects submitted, by industry, across nine professional service categories with the inclusion of real time project briefs on an infinite scroll. The home page gives Experts visibility of real project briefs and budgets live with a one-click invitation to pitch. Users also have the ability to view brief details before registering or logging in and take advantage of site-wide enhanced intelligent search functionality.
blur Group customer Elizabeth Patrick, CEO at Swift Judgment, a company set up to digitise the small claims court, commented: "The new-look platform is great and improved brief app capabilities make it even easier for us to submit project briefs. The site is cleaner, quicker and more intuitive to our needs."
