Angle PLC18 January 2005 For Immediate Release 18 January 2005 ANGLE plc Launch of US Ventures and Appointment of Managing Director ANGLE plc is pleased to announce the launch of its US Ventures business,building on the success of the Consulting and Management business in the UnitedStates. US Ventures will be headed by industry veteran Robert Kornblum, who hasbeen appointed as Managing Director with immediate effect. Kornblum will leadthe Ventures team in the United States, based out of the company's Tyson'sCorner, Virginia office. He will focus on building successful companies byidentifying and commercialising university and corporate intellectual property. Robert Kornblum has over 10 years of strategy and finance experience buildingand advising early-stage technology companies. He previously held seniorbusiness development and strategy roles at Manugistics Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANU), a large Maryland-based enterprise software company. Before joiningManugistics, he was a Principal at Austin Ventures, one of the largesttechnology venture capital firms in the US where he led investments inearly-stage software and services companies. Robert Kornblum also has experience with Robertson, Stephens & Company in SanFrancisco and Tribune Ventures in Chicago. He was awarded a Kauffman Fellowshipfrom the Kauffman Foundation, holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management(Northwestern University), and a BA from Dartmouth College. Commenting on the appointment, Gary Evans, ANGLE's Chief Executive of USoperations said: "We are delighted with Rob's appointment.
