TV NOVA PILOT SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED AS TALKS WITH GLOBAL BROADCASTERS CONTINUE

Consumers are responding favourably to low-cost Pay TV

Motive, the broadcast television technology and solutions provider, is pleased to announce that it has successfully launched a pilot scheme using the BesTV® technology, for TV Nova, the Prague (Czech Republic) TV station owned by Central European Media Enterprises Limited. Motive is currently in negotiations with a number of broadcasters in both Europe and in the USA and hopes to make further announcements on new pilot schemes shortly.

Motive would also like to highlight the success of Italian commercial broadcaster, Mediaset's pay-as-you-go digital terrestrial television ("DTT") package, powered by BesTV® software which achieved a breakeven result at an operational level in its second financial quarter ended 30 June 2010. Motive distributes BesTV® globally outside Spain and Italy and will not benefit directly from this achievement. However, the directors believe that the commercial success of the BesTV-powered over-the-air pay TV service in Italy demonstrates that video-on-demand and pay-tv services using the software can generate a strong consumer response.

Motive Chief Executive Officer, Leonard M. Fertig, said:
