SERVICEPower Launches SERVICEStats
To help service organisations visualise performance metrics
1st October 2008 - SERVICEPower (LSE:SVR), a market leader for outsourced service and field management, today announces the launch of their new business analytics application, SERVICEStats.
SERVICEStats provides a service organisation with the ability to clearly identify patterns in service data with near real-time visibility. It is designed to address a number of key business issues including; measuring the performance of the service organisation, measuring the effectiveness of the service providers, improving customer service and reducing fraud or product issues.
The business benefits of introducing such solutions as SERVICEStats is acknowledged by the Aberdeen Group, a global fact-based research company, "Recent Aberdeen research indicates a significant correlation between improved business performance and the coordinated, corporate-wide deployment of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions," stated Jack McAvoy, Research Director, Strategic Services Practice, Aberdeen Group. "Especially in a softening economy, business leaders require access to actionable information, presented in meaningful, role-based views."
"The role of SERVICEStats within a service organisation is to help quickly and clearly provide a direction for decision making," commented Mark Duffin, CEO of SERVICEPower. "The reports it produces are near instantaneous and extremely interactive enabling truly ad-hoc data analysis. The level of granularity SERVICEStats can drill down to in the data is exceptional and we believe it offers tremendous benefit to our customers."
SERVICEStats completely integrates dispatch, claims and survey data for a full line of sight of a consumer's experience. SERVICEStats also provides additional value added capabilities such as text mining and early warning - which identifies risk from fraud or product issues. The ability to integrate solutions to these business needs onto one common, highly scalable platform allows SERVICEPower customers to benefit from one of the most capable and competitive business intelligence applications on the market.
SERVICEStats provides service managers with both day-to-day and strategic analysis of operational performance and shows detailed information from individual products or repairs, through to repairs by geography or cause of repair. SERVICEStats also offers analysis on individual service centers or field technicians.
The application is already opening up a number of new business opportunities and several of SERVICEPower's existing SERVICEOperations clients are evaluating the proposition.
