Lapse of cash offer for Gemfields plc ("Gemfields")

Further to the announcement today by Pallinghurst Resources Limited that its offer for Gemfields has become wholly unconditional, Fosun Gold's cash offer for Gemfields has lapsed in accordance with its terms.

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement shall have the meanings given to them in the Rule 2.7 announcement released by Fosun Gold on 20 June 2017 in relation to its cash offer for Gemfields.
