Lancashire Wind Farm Planning appeal successful
Renewable Energy Generation Limited ("REG" or the "Company") (AIM: WIND), the UK renewable energy group, today announces that it has won its appeal for the construction of a two turbine wind farm at Orchard End in Lancashire.
The planning approval allows REG to install two wind turbines with a tip height of up to 125m on the site after discharge of planning conditions. REG expects to be able to commence construction of this project in its next financial year.
Andrew Whalley, Chief Executive Officer of Renewable Energy Generation, said:
"The planning appeal success at Orchard End is welcome news. REG will be moving forward with the discharge of planning conditions as speedily as possible in order to start project construction."
