Ladbrokes PLC07 November 2007 7 November 2007 Ladbrokes Plc sells Vernons to Sportech plc for £51 million Ladbrokes Plc today announces that it has agreed terms to dispose of its Vernonsfootball pools business to Sportech plc for cash consideration of £51 million,of which £45 million will be payable on completion and a further £3 million ineach of the two years following completion. The conditional deal is expected tobe completed in early December, following approval by Sportech's shareholders.
