La Parrilla Mine Development Approval Granted
W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, copper and gold mining, exploration and development company with assets located in Spain and Portugal, is pleased to advise that it has received development approval for its La Parrilla Fast Track Mine (FTM) located in Spain.
The approval, granted by the Mining Department of the regional authority of the Junta de Extremadura, is the main approval required to fully develop the FTM towards production, having received the environmental approval in July 2015.
Development work on the project remains on track with the next key milestone for the La Parrilla project being the updated JORC mineral resource estimate, which is anticipated in Q1 2016.
Commenting on the approval, Mr Michael Masterman, Chairman of W Resources said: "The granting of the development approval is a great credit to our Spanish team with the approval from the Mining Department coming just 8 months after submission of the formal environmental and development documentation and it gives us strong confidence in government support of the La Parrilla project.
The team continues to make excellent progress on key resource, metallurgy and process engineering work."
