Immediate Release 3 July 2006 COPPER RESOURCES CORPORATION CONSTRUCTION COMMENCES AT KINSENDA COPPER PROJECT IN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO LONDON, United Kingdom - 3 July 2006.Copper Resources Corporation (AIM: CRC.L) ("CRC"), is pleased to announce thestart of construction of its processing plant at the Kinsenda underground minein Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The plant will treat1.2 million tonnes of 5.1% grade Kinsenda ore to produce, at full capacity,54,000 tonnes per annum of contained copper in the form of a rich, 45%concentrate. At US$23 million, the estimated plant cost is low because itinvolves the relocation and refurbishing parts of existing concentratorequipment from Musoshi, another property of CRC's 75%-owned subsidiary, MiniĬrede Kinsenda et Musoshi sarl, and adding new equipment where required tocomplete and modernise the Kinsenda processing plant.Dewatering of the Kinsenda mine, which started in mid-February is proceeding onschedule, having now reached the 163 metre level.
