Key strategic partner agreement signed in South East Asia
InternetQ PLC (LSE: INTQ), one of the leading providers of mobile marketing and digital entertainment solutions for mobile network operators and brands, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with GMobi (General Mobile Technology), a leading mobile platform operator and provider of mobile Internet services across key emerging markets and an investee company of MediaTek Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, InternetQ PLC will work in partnership with GMobi, providing a range of bespoke content mobile related services to more than thirty of GMobi's OEM/ODM partners across multiple territories. These services include InternetQ's fast growing social music application 'Akazoo' and the recently launched App-marketing service Minimob.com.
Both Akazoo and Minimob.com have the potential to be offered as a white label service across any GMobi OEM/ODM partner generating incremental revenue opportunities based on subscriber penetration, monthly subscriptions, click-through rates and one off deployment payments.
GMobi is an investee company of MediaTek Inc., the leading mobile chipmaker in Taiwan. Its chips power devices for more than 500 million phones from a range of local handset brands, particularly in emerging markets.
