Energetix Group plc18 September 2006 For Immediate Release 18 September 2006 Energetix Group plc ("Energetix" or the "Company") Energetix granted a key patent Energetix Group plc (AIM: EGX), the new energy technology Company todayannounces that it has been granted a patent covering the key market of Europe. The patent, titled "Integrated Micro Combined Heat and Power System" coversEnergetix's core micro combined heat and power ("mCHP") technology, whichsupport its GenlecTM mCHP product and follows the grant of the US patent in2003. Genlec produces both electricity and normal heating for a user, and hasbeen developed into a boiler product for mass domestic market adoption. Europe is a key market for micro or residential combined heat and power asdevices for boiler replacement and new house builds suggest a current marketvalue of £8.1bn per annum. In the UK alone, government legislation provides goodincentives if mCHP is adopted. Energetix Group is building on its solid technology platform with a robustportfolio of intellectual property including key patents, trademarks andknow-how to enable exploitation across its global markets.
