Just Eat

Further to the FTSE Russell notice on 25 October 2019, FTSE Russell notes the recent proposal by Takeaway.com (Netherlands, BYQ7HZ6, GEIS Mid Cap) regarding the all-share combination with Just Eat (UK, BKX5CN8, GEIS Mid Cap, FTSE 250) whereby the offer will now be implemented by way of an offer instead of a scheme of arrangement (as previously communicated).

Please note that the anticipated index timetable and treatment detailed in the original informative notice published on 25 October 2019 should be disregarded. FTSE Russell will continue to monitor for an updated timetable and will subsequently publish an updated notice soon thereafter.

FTSE Russell also continues to monitor the cash offer for Just Eat by Prosus (Netherlands, BJDS7L3, GEIS Large Cap) whereby Just Eat shareholders are being offered GBP 7.10 for every Just Eat share held. FTSE Russell will continue to monitor both transactions.
