Wetherspoon (JD) PLC30 March 2007 Pub operator JD Wetherspoon has signed contracts with BAA to open two newoutlets at Heathrow Terminal 5. It is to invest £1.5 million developing the new pubs, which will both beairside. The terminal is set to open in March 2008 following a £4.3 billion constructionproject. Wetherspoon Chief Executive John Hutson said: " We have a close workingrelationship with BAA, established during the past 15 years. "The company already operates seven pubs at Heathrow and we are looking forwardto opening at Terminal 5 and being a part of its success." The new pubs will be open throughout the week, from the first flight until thefinal flight and will serve a wide selection of food and drink.
