ITV PLC16 November 2007 November 16 2007 For immediate release ITV SELLS STAKE IN MUTV TO MANCHESTER UNITED ITV plc today announced it has sold its one-third share in Manchester UnitedTelevision (MUTV) to Manchester United for a cash consideration of £3.3m.Manchester United now owns two thirds of the company, with the remaining thirdowned by BSkyB. Tom Betts, Commercial and Acquisitions Director at ITV, said: "This is another step in ITV's ongoing non-core asset disposal programme, whichhas seen us successfully raise over £500 million since the merger in 2004.
