ITV repurchases £28.9m of Convertible Bonds

ITV today announces that it has repurchased an aggregate principle amount of £28.9m of the 4% Convertible Bonds due 2016. The bonds purchased, representing 21.4% of the initial amount, will be cancelled following which the outstanding amount of the bonds will be £106.1m.

Ian Griffiths, ITV's Group Finance Director, said:

'This repurchase is further progress in improving the efficiency of our balance sheet."
