ISSUE OF SHARES UNDER PRE-EXISTING SHARE SCHEME

TORONTO, April 26, 2013 -Canaccord Financial Inc. (the "Company", "Canaccord")announces that an application has been made to the London Stock Exchange andthe UK Listing Authority for 160,656 common shares (which have no nominal orpar value) in relation to the Canaccord Genuity Asia Equity Incentive Plan (alegacy employee retention plan associated with a prior acquisition by CanaccordFinancial Inc.) to be admitted to the Official List of the London StockExchange. These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existingcommon shares in issue of the Company.
