Sirius Exploration plc18 August 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 18 August 2006 SIRIUS EXPLORATION PLC ("Sirius" or the "Company") ISSUE OF SHARES The Company announces that a total of 800,000 new Ordinary Shares of 0.25p (the"Shares") each have been issued to Beaumont Cornish Limited, in respect ofprofessional fees. The Company also announces that a total of 218,625 warrants to subscribe forOrdinary Shares of 0.25p at a price of 5p per Ordinary Share have been exercisedand accordingly an additional 218,625 Shares will be issued. The Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in issue, andapplication will be made for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.
