Issue of Shares

Sirius Petroleum (AIM:SRSP), announces that it has issued 2,678,571 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in settlement of outstanding professional and other fees. The Company has applied for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM and trading is expected to commence on or around 13 September 2012.

Following the above issuance of Ordinary Shares, the Company will have in issue a total of 816,904,901 Ordinary Shares.

Sirius does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury; therefore, the total number of voting rights in Sirius is 816,904,901.

The above figure of 816,904,901 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Sirius under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
