Issue of ordinary shares
HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited ("HICL" or "the Company") announces that it has issued for cash 2.0 million new ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the Company ("New Shares") to a single institutional investor.
The issue price per share (before expenses) is 126.25p, a premium to the last reported NAV per share.
The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The New Shares will be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange pursuant to the block listing application dated 8 August 2008.
