Asia Energy PLC25 July 2006 ASIA ENERGY PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY Asia Energy PLC ("the Company"), the 100% owner of the Phulbari Energy Projectin north-west Bangladesh, today announces that pursuant to an exercise ofexisting options, it has issued and allotted 10,000 new Ordinary Shares of 10peach, at a price of 75p. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Sharesof 10p each in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected tocommence on 27th July 2006.
