Issue of Equity
Centamin Egypt Limited (TSX:CEE, ASX:CNT, AIM:CEY) announces that, following the exercise of unquoted broker warrants 500,000 ordinary shares were issued and allotted at an exercise price of C$1.20 per share on 25 June 2009. Following the exercise of unquoted employee options on 29 June 2009, 100,000 ordinary shares were issued and allotted at an exercise price of A$1.0500 per share, and 35,000 ordinary shares were issued and allotted at an exercise price of A$0.7106 per share. Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected to commence on 03 July 2009.
The total number of Ordinary Shares on issue following the above issues is 991,935,623.
