Centamin Egypt Limited02 February 2006 Centamin Egypt Limited Issue of Equity Centamin Egypt Limited ("the Company") announces that following the exercise ofoptions issued under the Employee Share Option Plan 2002, 20,000 new OrdinaryShares were issued and allotted on 2 February 2006 at an exercise price ofA$0.2310 per share. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to tradingon AIM. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing OrdinaryShares in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected to commenceon 8 February 2006.
