Nighthawk Energy plc08 June 2007 NIGHTHAWK ENERGY PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY The Directors of Nighthawk Energy plc ("Nighthawk" or the "Company") (AIM: HAWK)announce that, following the receipt of a notice of conversion of warrants inthe Company at 9p per share, they have today allotted 3,625,000 new ordinaryshares of 0.25p each in the Company. Application has been made for the 3,625,000 new shares to be admitted to AIM,which is expected to take place on 11 June 2007. Following the conversion of the warrants, there are 155,448,126 ordinary sharesof 0.25p in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote. For theavoidance of doubt, this does not include the 12,500,000 new ordinary shares of0.25p each, which are the subject of a placing announced on 7 June 2007 andwhich will be unconditionally allotted on admission of such shares to trading onAIM, which is also expected to take place on 11 June 2007.
