Ventus 2 VCT PLC06 April 2006 Ventus 2 VCT plc (the "Company") 6 April 2006 ISSUE OF EQUITY Ventus 2 VCT plc announces that, at two board meetings held on 5 April 2006, atotal of 6,330,282 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each were issued and allotted ata price of 100 pence per share pursuant to its Offer for Subscription withrespect to the 2005/06 tax year. Following these allotments, the issued sharecapital of the Company is 10,341,330 Ordinary Shares. The Offer for Subscription with respect to the 2006/07 tax year remains openuntil 31 May 2006 unless closed or extended before that time. Application for the new shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UKListing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market forlisted securities will be made at the earliest practical opportunity.
