The Character Group plc ("Character Group" or the "Company")
Block listing / Issue of Equity
Character Group announces that an application has been made to London Stock Exchange plc for 6,817,941 Ordinary Shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM. These Shares are being reserved under a block listing and it is intended that they will be issued upon the exercise of options granted or to be granted under The Character Group plc 2006 Share Option Plan.
The Shares will, when allotted, rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.
