Sirius Exploration plc04 July 2006 RELEASED ON BEHALF OF: Sirius Exploration Plc 4 July 2006 Issue of New Ordinary Shares The Company has placed through S.P Angel & Co. Limited 6,250,000 new ordinaryshares of 0.25p each at a price of 4p per share to raise £250,000 (gross), inorder to provide additional working capital. In addition, the Company has issued 80,000 new ordinary shares of 0.25p each at5p per share to City of London PR and on 25 May 2006 issued 100,000 new ordinaryshares of 0.25p each at 5p per share to Beaumont Cornish Limited, in both casesin respect of professional services. The total of 6,430,000 new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with theexisting ordinary shares and application will be made for these shares to beadmitted to trading on AIM.
