Centamin Egypt Limited04 August 2006 Centamin Egypt Limited Issue of Equity Centamin Egypt Limited ("the Company") announces that, following the exercise ofoptions issued under the Employee Share Option Plan 2002, 100,000 ordinaryshares have been issued and allotted at an exercise price of A$0.2310 per shareand a further 100,000 ordinary shares have been issued and allotted at anexercise price of A$0.2804 per share. Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to tradingon AIM. The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinaryshares in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected to commenceon 11 August 2006.
