Uranium Resources PLC05 January 2007 5th January 2007 Uranium Resources plc ('Uranium Resources' or 'the Company') Completes £2 million fundraising to advance uranium exploration in Tanzania On 22 December 2006, Uranium Resources plc, the AIM traded uranium explorationand development company, announced that it had received binding commitments toraise £1.85 million through the issue of 73,900,000 new ordinary shares at 2.5pper share in connection with a £2 million placing that it was undertaking. TheCompany is pleased to announce that it has received further binding commitmentsto raise £152,500 through the issue of 6,100,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p eachfor 2.5p per share and that the placing of 80,000,000 new ordinary shares is nowfully subscribed. Application will be made for the admission of 80,000,000 new ordinary shares totrade on the AIM market.
